At Mundipharma, we believe in putting patients and the healthcare professionals who serve them at the core of everything we do, and that means acting with integrity in all our business decisions and actions.
To help our employees understand the high ethical and legal standards we expect, and have confidence in meeting them, we provide guidance in the form of a holistic set of policies, tools and resources. Every employee is encouraged to seek help when in doubt, to challenge behaviours that wouldn’t meet our high standards, to report concerns promptly, and to Be Brave.
Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct outlines the core principles that govern our day-to-day business activities.
Be Brave - The importance of speaking up
At Mundipharma we are committed to achieving high ethical standards and acting in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes.
We urge anyone who believes we are failing to uphold our commitment to Be Brave and contact us so that we can review their concerns and take any necessary remedial action.
We also encourage you to ask questions or suggest improvements to our policies and procedures.
Mundipharma prohibits any form of retaliation towards anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
Please use the Mundipharma Integrity Line to raise your questions or concerns.
Charter on the responsible medical use of opioid analgesics in pain management
Opioid analgesics can be an important option for healthcare professionals to appropriately treat patients with moderate to severe pain. Notwithstanding the medical need, Mundipharma recognises that the use of prescription opioid medications is associated with the risks of abuse, addiction and diversion. As a company that provides opioid medicines for appropriate and responsible medical and scientific use, we are committed to mitigating these risks and to supporting healthcare professionals in treating their patients in pain safely and responsibly.
For more information, please see our charter on the responsible medical use of opioid analgesics in pain management.
Disclosure of payments
To advance patient care, like many other pharmaceutical organisations, we work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and healthcare organisations. Our policies and procedures provide instructions to employees on the rules and approval processes required for engagements with healthcare professionals, to help ensure that such engagements are only for lawful and legitimate business needs, are appropriately documented, are compensated according to fair market value, and do not interfere with a healthcare professional’s independent medical judgment.
Grants & Donations
We are proud to provide grants and donations in the form of financial support or company products for activities that are consistent with our guiding principle of patient centricity: to deliver better, faster, and more impactful solutions, to advance medicine, healthcare, and education, and to benefit the communities in which we operate.
At Mundipharma, all grant and donation decisions are made by a centralised committee to maintain independence from commercial considerations.
